Aleksandra Vilcinska
BIO
Aleksandra was born in Riga, Latvia in 1991 and obtained her initial music education as a pianist and singer in 2007. During her teenage years she participated in international singer songwriter contests. Her awards include 1st Place at the Berliner Perle, Berlin in 2007 and Grand Prix at the Open Europe, Moscow 2008. She moved to the UK in 2008 to continue her music studies at Sidcot School. During her studies she was awarded The Arthur Baines Piano Trophy for her outstanding contribution to the music department. Aleksandra later went on to study Music and Management sciences BA at The University of Southampton, UK. After years of working as an acoustic piano specialist and marketer at Yamaha Music Europe she has restarted her career as a music composer and is currently studying MA Composition for Film at the National Film & Television School, UK.
